We are dedicated to understanding why WSU's parking permits are priced the way they are.

We are dedicated to bringing knowledge to the forefront in order to empower students, faculty, and visitors alike.

We are dedicated to change.

About us

An educational institution should always strive to provide the best education and accommodations for its residents, students, and employees. Transportation is independent from Washington State University, and therefore has no school regulated guidelines to follow in regard to parking lots. This has created a monopoly with no system of checks and balances. Because of this, the prices we (as faculty, students, and visitors) pay annually for parking are high, limiting our access to lots while not showing any progress toward condition improvement or maintenance. Conditions within certain parking lots continue to be substandard and could be considered dangerous to both a vehicle and pedestrian. Parking lots are not maintained -- lines are not repainted often making spaces hard to determine between maintenance, parking lots remain gravel instead of paved, and overall conditions are being neglected. Information is not provided in regards to changes made to lots (for example: a parking lot changing color or becoming a colored lot instead of a metered lot). Students, staff, and faculty should have the right to know why prices are so high, how money is being spent in regard to parking facilities, and when changes are made to facilities.

What are we striving to achieve?
